Hours From June-August - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday

The youth programs a east Side are primarily for children in the Mid-City area who need a safe haven as an alternative to being left alone with nothing to do during the summer months and at e end of the school day. During the course of the day the social skills the children learn are caring, self-control, empathy, respect for themselves and others and honesty. These are not only important classroom skills, but also important life skills.

We encourage the children to get their homework done before they make choice to go to the computer lab, puppetry, physical fitness, or play games. If the children need help with homework, the tutoring program is going to be apart of the latch-key program. Help is availabe for any child that resides within the City limits of St. Joseph and may also be enrolled in the after school program. Kids Cafe is in operation daily. Back Pack Buddies are availble.
